Our challenge: to use the school community to encourage children to practise Islam, not just learn about it.
π― Two kinds of targets
Goals at home, celebrated at school
π Parent-led targets
Each term, sit with your child and agree how much time they'll give each subject each week. Start with what's achievable, then build up. Be very clear on the reward! It takes 21 days to form a habit, so the plan is for 3 weeks.

Choose a challenge, complete it, then tell us about it so we can celebrate!

Hifdh
- Record your child independently reading the surah they have memorised without any mistakes, and send it to us.

Worship
- I prayed 5 / 10 / 20 times a week
- I prayed 5 times every day
- I read Quran 3 / 5 / 7 days a week
- I fasted half a day, 1 day, or ___ days in Ramadan

Belief
- Record a video explaining: the Shahadah, the 5 Pillars of Islam, the 6 Pillars of Iman
- Who the Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί is, or who Jesus ('alayhis-salam) was
- The main Angels, the Books of Allah, Jannah, the Day of Judgement, good and bad deeds

Character
- Take a photo: I did a chore 5 days a week
- I was kind to my brother or sister 7 days a week
- I did something special for my mother, father, grandparents, aunties, uncles or neighbour
- I volunteered at a charity event, or explained Islam to my teacher

Seerah & History
- Bring in a project about the life, miracles, family or description of the Prophet ο·Ί
- Write a poem or a letter to the Prophet ο·Ί
- A project about Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim or Musa ('alayhimus-salam)

Arabic
- Record a video of your child reciting any memorised vocabulary.
