From a mothers' group to a school of 100+ students
By the help of Allah, Hafidh Al-Quran Academy grew from a small mothers' and toddlers' group in Solihull into Edgbaston Arabic School, with 15 classes across Birmingham and Solihull.
βIf she can memorise nursery rhymes, why not the Quran?β
Our founder, Teacher Muna, started the academy when her own daughter was just 1 year old. She noticed how much her daughter loved nursery rhymes, and by the age of 2 she had memorised many of them.
At first, simply asking her to repeat each surah didn't work. So Muna developed a system combining correct tajweed, visual movements and a fun, interactive experience, and her daughter began memorising the Quran.
The method was then used at a local mothers' and toddlers' group, and thanks to its popularity it grew from there. We ask Allah to help us continue to grow, ameen.
Raising children who love Allah, the Prophet ο·Ί and the Quran
There is very little Islamic education for Muslims under the age of 5, yet we have students as young as 9 months. We pray that you join us in raising young huffadh who truly love the Quran.

Semi-Montessori Islamic Led Education. Children learn by doing: moving, signing, playing and exploring, at their own pace.

We put a strong emphasis on active parent engagement, and on making sure students love to attend our school. Each term, parents and children set goals together.

From parent workshops explaining our methodology to our end-of-year Celebration Day, families are at the heart of everything. When parents and teachers work together, children flourish.
